Serving a population of 1.3 million people across South London, St George’s is a major acute hospital offering specialist expertise across multiple disciplines — all on a single site.
As part of the NIHR network, our CRF provides the dedicated space, support and expertise needed to translate groundbreaking research into real-world treatments and improved patient outcomes.

When you join a research study with us at the NIHR St George’s Clinical Research Facility, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. From the moment you arrive, our team of specialist nurses, clinicians, and support staff will explain what to expect and make sure you feel comfortable and informed. You may have appointments such as checkups or followup assessments, these are simply to make sure you’re safe and well throughout the study.
