Our expertise

We have a complement of Chief and Principal Investigators ranging from Clinicians to Academics with significant experience gained from over 100 first-in-human, phase I and phase IIa studies in the last 5 years in areas such as Infectious Disease, Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology and Clinical Genetics amongst others.

Located at the centre of St Georges Hospital, which provides more specialties on one site than any other hospital in London, our NIHR CRF has access to a very broad ranges of emergency services and inpatient facilities, including the Emergency Department, intensive care units and a range of medical acute areas. In addition, We are co-located with Moorfields Eye Centre for studies requiring specialist ophthalmology and have excellent links to the cardiac centre providing tertiary services in its catheter, electrophysiology, and echocardiography labs.
