A key part of this partnership is the Translational and Clinical Research Institute, known as TACRI. TACRI is a joint virtual institute between St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and City St George’s, University of London. It supports researchers at all levels to develop collaborations, build research skills and deliver clinical research across a wide range of specialties.
Through TACRI, researchers can access training, academic support, statistical advice, collaboration opportunities and guidance to help design and deliver high-quality studies. This strengthens the link between research and patient care, helping new discoveries move more quickly from idea to clinical benefit.
