St George's Clinical Research Facility
The Vaccine Institute

The Vaccine Institute at St Georges is a leading centre for vaccine research, helping to develop and deliver studies that improve protection against infectious diseases.

The Institute works on a wide range of vaccine studies, including research into new vaccines, vaccine safety, immune responses and ways to improve protection for different groups of people. This work supports better prevention of infection and contributes to national and international public health research.

Dr Catherine Cosgrove, one of the Directors of the NIHR St Georges Clinical Research Facility, is also part of the Vaccine Institute. Her role helps strengthen the close link between the CRF and vaccine research at St Georges, supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical trials and giving patients and volunteers opportunities to take part in important vaccine studies.
